Just what is the easiest, most reliable, and cheapest way to get a stream of traffic to your website?

How to get high-quality traffic is the most frequently asked question by both novice and experienced Internet promoters. And it doesn’t really matter what you’re selling either – products, services or virtual real estate for advertising – you will still require visitors; floods of them. How on earth do you do that?

Well, you could buy advertising. Hmm. Expensive. It is easy to spend several thousands of dollars A MONTH through Google.

The problem is, that by the time the whiz-kid releases it to the public, it has probably already be picked up by the search engines. So, too bad, you missed the boat. And maybe Google banned your site as well.

But did you know that there is one, sure-fire technique that has been quietly beavering away since the very beginning of the Internet; is completely immune to changes in search engine algorithms; is 100% legitimate and ethical; takes very little time and costs very little?

Do you need your new site listed by the search engines in days rather than in weeks or months? This system will do it. Need top placings for organic traffic, even in highly competitive markets? This will do that too.

Furthermore, it can even help you with off-line marketing too!

It gets even better than that though. Over the past year, this method has been put on steroids. It has been used stealthily to build a vast Adsense empire and to promote private products too, often snagging the Number One position on Google from 270 million competing websites in the meanwhile!

And now, after having decided that it won’t hurt his own business by doing so, the developer is releasing this system to other smart promoters. Say, people like you, in fact.

However, it does not stop there. If you act quickly, you can lock in your membership costs at a ridiculously low price and promote as many websites as you want for no extra charge!

Let’s be certain about this. This method is definitely not the latest and greatest black-hat technique. It will not stop being useful over the next couple of months. This is an already well-established system that is being used by all the best promoters, but which has now been brought to a whole new level of simplicity and power.

Let’s put it this way: if you are paying good money for Google Adwords or any other form of online advertising or traffic generation and not using this method then, to be blunt, you are crackers!

Maybe, even how they were treated during a crisis. Enough can not be said for good customer service. Build that relationship and report and your customers will spread accolades on your behalf. With that you should give the same type of service and attention to the person that comes from the referral. It worked the first time don’t stop.

Signs- There are different types of signs today that are being utilized dependent on your budget and also what type of business that you are in. Starting off with the roadside sign that usually appears at the busy corner of a street. Next are the billboards that we all pass everyday in our travels. The local building business sign that are typically posted directing you to the actual business whatever the location might be. Mobile signs are still in use on company vehicles. The wrap around being the new trend that you might see on a passing automobile. Don’t for get the bus billboards. This is a way for companies to make local cry for your patronage or business and stay in your mind pushing aside the competition.

One of the most effective methods of generating traffic to your website is writing articles and submitting them to the article publishers. The efforts of the next few days may not drive any real traffic to your website but writing articles and submitting them will serve you well in the future and it is in your best interest to use this technique to your advantage. While you may not think you have any writing talent, you are probably incorrect. You may not be the next John Grisham, but you can effectively write about your website and products that you sell. Of course you need to know the rules for writing articles effectively. The number one rule is that the headline or title HAS To contain keywords pertaining to your website or product. This will be the determining factor when E-zine publishers or website owners decide if they want to publish your article. This is because they are aware of how much importance the search engines place on keywords in searches.

* Note: The search engines are the method by which people find products or information that they are looking for on the Internet. To find those products or that information, they type key words into the search boxes of the search engines. For example; they might type in fish bait or fishing lures. The results that the search engines provide are based on the key words that the searcher uses.

The other thing about the title or headline of your article is that it must be attention getting. You cant just title your article Fish Bait. You have to make your title interesting enough to entice the reader to keep reading. Fish Bait that Works…that isnt very good either. How about, Fish Bait from Heaven or The Fish Bait the Fish Cant Resist? Either of those titles would entice the person who was looking for information about fish bait to keep reading.

The next most important words are in the first line of the first paragraph of your articls. People surfing the internet today have terribly short attention span and mostly skim for information unless it is information that they think is going to solve a problem, make life better for them or serve a need. As you can see, the title and first line are bait and hook used to encourage a reader to continue on and read to the end of the article. Again, the first line must contain the key words and grab attention. “The women were hanging all over my car looking at all the neat gadgets I had”. If you were looking for attention from women, you would keep reading.

One more thing about your articles is that they need to be short if you intend to submit them to article banks. Very short! No more than 400 words but closer to 300 words would be more appropriate. Sometimes we can get carried away and all of a sudden have an article that is 1000 words or more. This can happen if you are writing about a subject in which you are interested and knowledgeable about. When this happens just break a long article down into a couple of shorter articles.

Keep in mind that short attention span we discussed earlier and use short sentences and paragraphs. And dont use big words or run-on sentences. Make your article pleasing to the eye and it will be read.

Excess punctuation shows a lack of respect for the reader. Especially exclamation points – one can be used to show excitement or importance but any more are just plain rude.

Your resource box at the end of the article is the part that is most important to you. Other website owners or E-zine publishers who download and reproduce your article are required to include your resource box. This box needs to contain your full name, your contact information and, most importantly, a link to your website. That link is the little thing that is going to help increase traffic for you.

Warning! Your link should NOT word wrap! It must be complete, http://www.whatever.com. Not all email programs that are used by E-zine editors to send out their newsletters and E-zines support word-wrapped links so you can defeat the whole purpose of writing the article by word-wrapping your website url.

Submitting Articles: Article banks and article repositories are easily found on the Internet by a simple search using your favorite search engine. Once you have located them you must follow their guidelines to submit your articles.

Software is available for use in automatically submitting articles to the article repositories and banks. The problem here is that most of the larger, more effective repositories and banks will not publish automated submissions. So even though this software can save time when submitting to smaller sites, this doesn’t help much with the bigger more well known sites.

Submitting articles can be time consuming and boring, but it is work that will provide a lot of targeted traffic to your site. Every person who reads an article you’ve written is also exposed to your URL. If they like the article because it provides good information for them, they will visit your site. Once there, they may buy something you are selling or maybe opt-in for your mailing list… or possibly even do both. There are services available to submit your articles for you. You do have to pay for this service.
