Chiropractic Website Marketing Warning

Friday, May 15th, 2009

If you currently have a chiropractic website and it’s not producing new patients or sales from information products that you have, you are not alone. In fact 90% of chiropractors that have websites, don’t know the first thing about driving massive amounts of visitors (traffic) to them to get new patients. Typically they are promised by their webmaster that after the site is created, the flood-gates will open and they will begin to get noticed by people in the community.

This is absolutely a lie that many website creators keep from you so you will continued to host your website at their many times expensive service. Just because you have a professional, expensive and aesthetically appealing website doesn’t automatically mean it will make you a boatload of money.

If you’re a chiropractor that is seeking new patients and other forms of income, then you need to understand about internet marketing in today’s world. Marketing is what will bring people to your chiropractic website and to your office. Now, there are several types of marketing online from Pay-Per-Click, Banner Ads, email marketing, and social media marketing. Which one should you choose?

Understand this, unlike many have told you, paid marketing and advertising is quickly becoming a dying breed. This is because more and more business owners are waking up to the massive potential of social media which has been blanketing the news lately. Putting together a strategic marketing campaign on social media sites like Myspace, YouTube, Facebook, Digg, LinkedIn and many others can explode your business and website traffic literally overnight. The best part about it is that these networks are 100% free!

Know that you can’t do this alone! When you dive into the new world of social media marketing, the potential for error is great. You need someone by your side that has experience and can guide you exactly where you need to be. Don’t waste your time trying to reinvent the wheel, when you can have someone show you the tricks to milking Web 2.0 and branding yourself successfully from the beginning.

Video marketing on YouTube and other websites like it provide you a simple, free medium to propagate your message to your community so that boatloads of people will continuously see you. The best part is, these videos work for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week absolutely free!

I have videos that have garnered thousands and thousands of views on only a few months. Do you have any idea what exposure like this would cost on Pay-Per-Click advertising engines? You got it, a truckload of cash! Videos even get indexed very well by Google if you know how to optimize them so climbing to the top of the search engine can be relatively simple and very cheap.

Don’t ever trust a chiropractic webmaster who says that you’ll magically drive a wealth of new business to your site naturally once it’s started. This is simply not true! Even if you have the most beautiful, expensive website in the world, no one will see it if they don’t know that it’s there! Marketing on these social media sites online is the perfect and cheap way to drive thousands of people to your website daily; even while you sleep. So what are you waiting for?

I joined YouTube in 2006, and immediately sensed the great potential for incredible wealth and growth of my chiropractic practice, as well as continued streams of residual income. Did you know that YouTube is actually the 3rd most visited website in the world? Just look at what Ron Paul was able to do during his run for president. YouTube played a massive role in this, of course, seeing as that his videos were consistently featured on the home page because of the boatloads of ratings, comments, and favorites.

The major television networks are actually teaming up to try and compete with YouTube, as very few people are turning to TV news networks for information anymore! Serious Entrepreneurs Know Social Media Etiquette

Monday, March 30th, 2009

If you’re a Serious Entrepreneur who’s been involved in Internet Marketing for any length of time, you’re learning that using social media is a great way to promote your business for free.

However, you have to be kind of careful with dealing with those who have power on the World Wide Web. Pissing off the people at Google, and other people who are your online “Friends” can result in having your accounts shut down, and leave you crying in the dust. And those are just your Facebook and Twitter accounts!

That’s because you’ve now been branded as a SPAMMER!

One of the blessings of Web 2.0 is online social networking. A lot of people use these to remain in constant communication with friends, to meet new acquaintances, develop connections that are work-related and many more. However, people are always looking abuse this wonderful service and this is especially true with social networking online among other things.

Internet property is much like any web page where Internet Sites allow peers to interact, which is then called social media online. Web 2.0 is just another word to refer to sites that allow people to contribute to it rather than simply read what’s on it.

So MySpace, Facebook, Twitter and all those other great sites where you can blog, put pictures in, upload songs to, advertise, and what-have-you are all web 2.0.

And as the Internet became more popular and more people started using it, businessmen came to realize that they could promote their business through the web, and thought it was “This is free? This is soooo cool!”

Well, the problem comes: it isn’t cool!

Social media a broad word that encompasses many kinds of sites but there’s an online etiquette that dictates which web 2.0 sites allow you to have a slice of the Internet property for yourself and your business – without ticking off the wrong people and causing you to lose your reputation as a serious entrepreneur in the network marketing industry.

Let me explain it this way:

It’s your day off from a long work week, the perfect time to relax and communicate with friends and maybe even meet new ones. So, you party and have a blast. But then someone comes out of the blue, tells him who he is and then instantly tries to sell you things that he’s got in store.

How much of a turn-off is that? That is exactly what happens when you use certain social media sites for purposes they are not intended for.

If you’re going to succeed in the Internet jungle of business, you have to understand that it’s not about making money, but rather, about making connections with people. Even if it’s on the Internet, you should conduct business the same way you would in person: With dignity and respect. Business has it’s time and place, and social media is generally not one of them.

Not a single person likes things forced down his throat. Respect is essential when building long lasting relationships, and it takes lots of time. The same goes for creating loyal followers on your business.

Fresh Chiropractic Internet Marketing with Social Media

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

It’s clear that social marketing on MySpace, YouTube, and Facebook is the wave of the future for chiropractic marketing and garnering residual income, but what people don’t realize is that it’s tremendously important to market yourself correctly from the beginning. You need the right guidance to make sure you develop proper credibility within your community, and you need your guide to have experience. Don’t spend thousands to get off on the wrong foot, wasting time and precious energy. There are some secret rules that you must learn to correctly navigate the journey ahead.

Social media is an interesting phenomenon, in the fact that, it has spread like wildfire and permanently altered the landscape and dynamics of communication as we know it. A question that is asked frequently by chiropractors is, “Are social networks just for teenagers?” In short, the answer is a whopping no! Not sure where this misconception came from but many are still oblivious to the millions of middle and older aged folks plugged in daily. Did you know that employers are actually passing laws at work because employees are literally addicted to this style of communication? As a savvy business owner and entrepreneur, I knew the implications of this immediately so I took advantage and my life hasn’t been the same since.

The internet is quickly becoming the highway to a better life for all kinds of people, and chiropractors need to get their vehicles in gear, moving quickly on the path to success. The time is now to utilize Web 2.0 to utterly transform the income of your practice, along with countless other ways to create endless streams of income.

I’m going to show you exactly how to get dozens of new patients through your office doors each month, and guess what, you won’t have to pay a dime in advertising while you do it. Don’t listen to the self-proclaimed gurus who want to charge you ridiculous amounts of money to teach you the same old practices that are no longer working. If they aren’t teaching social media, they are teaching you nothing.

Barely anyone is using social networks to build their practice at the present time. The ones that are doing it successfully are the ones that I taught. They are utterly dominating the competition in the community and are able to reach people that would otherwise be untouchable with the do-not-call lists or with postcards, etc. On one of my profiles, I have in excess of 6,400 friends, 3,000 of which are members of my local community who I can communicate with via blogs and bulletins. I am the first and only consultant to leverage the power of social media and share these carefully guarded secrets with other struggling doctors and students.

I was able to personally establish myself as the best chiropractic expert in my community and almost automatically received countless new referrals monthly. The reputation that I have created for myself is gold in the industry, and when people go onto MySpace or YouTube looking for a doctor / chiropractor, they’re going to come up with me. People are hungry for this information, and my endless speaking engagements are proof. My goal was to improve the business and lives of practicing chiropractors and many others, and I have achieved that goal.

Take a moment to brainstorm how you want to be seen in your community, and what kind of a business you want to market. From these initial ideas, you’ll come up with ideas for the right feel for your video that you’ll upload online, and then watch as the business comes rolling in. Keep the video under 5 minutes, because people have short attention spans. My video training course will show you how to do this and so much more.

And all of this is easier than you ever imagined. You don’t even need a camera to start, but you might want one down the line. When I first began, I made my video with screen capture software, and the success I achieved from that was amazing. Those doctors paying through the teeth for pay-per-click would love to have the free advertising tricks that I teach. It’s time to dominate Google with this free advertizing technique, and ditch the dollar-per-click trap. You’re going to achieve results that you never imagined possible.

Getting More From Your Marketing Budget

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

When times get tough, marketing budgets seem to be the first thing to be impacted. This is generally the case because upper management doesn’t see a direct return for the dollars being spent. This is unfortunate but the fact of the matter is that many marketing professionals have not done a good job of measuring the effectiveness of their marketing results. And as a result, their marketing dollars are seen as unnecessary.

Now that things are difficult for online ad networks, magazines, and newspapers, it’s a great time to negotiate rates. Are you still paying top dollar for ads? Due to the difficulty in measuring the impact of a particular advertisement, many companies are cutting back on traditional ad spend. This creates more inventory and with more inventory comes lower prices. It really is all about supply and demand.

One of the easiest ways to evaluate where you can improve your marketing value is by evaluating each campaign you plan to do in the coming year. When considering these campaigns, what are their components? As you break down each campaign, you may find that you are working with one vendor or multiple vendors. Essentially, you want to identify the vendors you do the most business with and then negotiate with them for a more favorable rate. Trust me, they don’t want to lose your business. As a result, they will be willing to lower their costs and save you money.

The next step is to focus on your Internet marketing budget. We all know that online marketing is a fantastic way to measure results and control marketing spend. Review your campaigns and determine where you can eliminate wasteful spend. Do you have campaigns that have been running forever that are just breaking even? Forgo the revenue in exchange for a larger spend on profitable campaigns. Review your metrics and make wise decisions. If you do not have tracking software in place, invest in some. It will make your ROI easier to comprehend and give you specific information on where to invest in the future.

After a thorough review of your marketing expenses, your are in a much better position for determining how you can group promotions to lower costs and improve sell through. Consider how you might take advantage of your current campaigns. Do you ask customers to forward a promotion to a friend? Are you communicating to your mailing list on a regular basis? Are you collecting information about your consumers that can help you customize your campaigns and improve conversion rates? Think through each touch point and how you might improve your sales.

Being successful with a smaller marketing budget requires a dual approach. To get results, you need to focus on reducing your marketing expenses while improving conversions. Doing so may seem a bit unnerving but can certainly be done. Focus on what has worked in the past and eliminate projects that will be difficult to track or manage. The key is to go with the tried and true marketing methods that have produced results.

Once you have found the campaigns that really produce positive results, consider how you can make them even more effective. Viral and social media, encouraging others to take advantage of your offers, is a great method for generating results and doesn’t cost a lot. When marketers see something that’s working, they often leave it alone. If you have specific campaigns that produce results, focus on expanding the campaigns and scaling them. This ensure that you are creating a sustainable campaign that gives you what you’re looking for in difficult times – greater results with a smaller budget.
